Linseed is the biggest producer of flaxseed in Finland.
Linseed Ltd. has been established in 1999 in Kauhajoki Finland.
Our innovation to flaxseed is gentle roasting that has three benefits:
Gentle roasting basically makes flaxseed safe to use and enhances the good qualities of flax:
- Improves microbiological properties of flax
- Enhances flavour (the bitterness of flaxseed disappears and the flavour becomes crunchy and delicious)
- Shelf life of the product doubles naturally
Northern grown flaxseeds contains 10-15 % more omega-3 due to continuous sunlight during summer.
Flaxseeds are ultra nutritious: high in omega-3 and 6, magnesium and fiber. The relation on omega-3 and 6 is exceptionally good.
Our products are gmo-free, gluten-free, lactose-free and suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Our factory is completely gluten-free, only plant-based products are handled.
